PFK Products

How do I care for my candle?

Burn your candle for a minimum of 2 hours and a maximum of 4. This will ensure the wax burns evenly. Trim the wick to about 1cm before lighting. Always extinguish the candle and do not relight when the wax level is less than 5mm.

How long do your candles burn?

Our large 1 wick candles burn for 35 hours and our small candles burn for 18 hours.

I am a vegan and don't use beeswax – can you tell me if I can use your products?

Our candles use a soy wax and don’t contain any beeswax.

Can you tell me what your wicks are made from?

All the wicks in the PFK candles are made from natural cotton fibres.

Where are your products made?

All our candles are hand poured in the PFK kitchen which is based in rural Shropshire.

Why do you use soy wax?

Paraffin wax is derived from petroleum which contains toxic air pollutants and produces noxious soot that can stain interior surfaces. Paraffin wax can trigger respiratory irritation and poor indoor air quality.

Natural waxes (like our soy wax) are free of these toxins and are renewable, sustainable and biodegradable. Soy candles are also longer burning and, as they burn to the bottom, there is no wax wastage.

Why do you use only essential oils?

The majority of candles use synthetic scents, which can be irritants and toxic. Even some candles sold as 100% natural contain these scents in some way, usually due to the cost of essential oils. We believe it is important for our products to be totally free of these artificial scents and make a promise that our candles only contain 100% essential oils to produce their aroma.

How do I change or cancel my order?

When will I receive my order?

Delivery is via Royal Mail Signed for 2nd Class Delivery, which can take 2-3 days from dispatch.

I haven't received my order

Delivery can take up to 5 days from ordering. If you still haven't received your order after this time, then please send an email to

I have received the wrong product, what do I do?

Please send an email to and we'll pick up the incorrect items and get replacements to you as soon as possible.

My product is faulty, what do I do?

We're sorry that there is a fault with your PFK product. Please send an email to and we will investigate the problem. We may need to arrange to collect the faulty goods or we may ask you to provide a photograph.


How do I arrange a return or exchange?

Can I return an item I received as a gift?

An item that was received as a gift can be returned for an exchange. Refunds can only be made to the original credit or debit card on which the gift was purchased.

Can I return an item I didn't purchase on

Please contact the store you purchased the item from in order to arrange your return.

Have you received my returned goods?

We will contact you as soon as we receive your returns. If you haven't heard from us within 5 working days please send an email to and we will be happy to help.

How long does it take for a refund to be received?

Refunds are arranged within 14 days of us receiving faulty/unwanted goods.


How will my order be delivered?

Do you offer next day UK delivery?

We don’t currently offer next day UK delivery, but if your order is urgent, please contact us on before 12pm and we will do our best to help you.

Do you deliver internationally?

We do not currently deliver internationally via the online shop but please send an email to and we will look at options for you.

Will I have to sign for my delivery?

For security reasons, all parcels must be signed for on receipt. If you will not be at home during normal delivery hours you can provide us with an alternative secure delivery address where someone will be available to sign for your parcel.

Do you deliver to PO Boxes?

Our delivery service requires a signature on delivery, therefore we are unable to deliver to PO Boxes.
